Seida was very informative and helpful during my initial call. He took the time to go through about what and how much packing items I would roughly need. Despite a little hiccup of them switching systems and my appointment not being on the schedule the day before, he was quickly able to resolve the issue and movers were able to still show up as scheduled. Seida and his crew were very kind, respectful, friendly, and efficient. I used them for labor only, packing up a U-Haul, and I drove to STL with no issues. Everything was packed up so snug and nice. Price was very reasonable as well. I recommend this company and would book with them again. Thanks! ~ Katie C

First of all the two men Trevon and Jasiah showed up on time! Good start. They introduced themselves and scoped out the job. Then they organized everything depending on size which in my opinion was a smart move considering we had a ton of boxes and weird shaped stuff including furniture, Washer Dryer, Bedroom sets, Kitchen Table and Chairs. I was very impressed with their dedication and commitment to the task. They worked hard and made it look great putting everything in our UHaul truck. The best help! There is a lot of experience here. I scheduled our move kind of late, about 2-3 weeks prior to today, but Chris and Zay still came out to help on a Sunday. We asked them to move a LOT of furniture -and up and down tight stairs- but everyone pulled through to make sure we would settle into our new home! I can't take great pictures, but if you could have seen the way they secured the load on the truck. Furniture pads and straps were between everything that was touching and I didn't worry at all about transport. They were safe with the loading and unloading. I'm quite wary of Moving companies, and Prefer 2M&T, Especially being when I was younger I worked for them. They always provide me with the best service and experience. I went on a limp today to try a new company even after it went less than desirable last time i tried a new moving company. Nonetheless; today Kyree and Seida came down ready to Hoist a Heavy Big Piece of Furniture up onto a 2nd Floor Balcony to get it into my establishment. They came with about a 2 hour notice from call, day of, when NFM delivered my furniture but were unable to get it into my dwelling. These two men were very professional and Friendly. This team is a game changer to me, they have won my hearts over from 2M&T. They gave me incredibly quick service, yet cared about the details and getting everything done right. Seida and Jordan are amazing at what they do! After getting a late start due to unforeseen issues, they worked straight through for 4 1/2 hours packing up our 26 ft truck from our storage units. Seida did an amazing job playing Tetris with our boxes and furniture to get the truck packed super tight to fit nearly everything in! They were very kind and stayed super positive and upbeat the entire time. My teenage boys enjoyed working along side them as well. We booked Your Local Moverz last minute when we found ourselves in a bind (note to future self and anyone reading this: Don't hire College Hunks in whatever city or state you're in!). They were available to come unload our U-Haul the next day early in the morning and this was after we contacted them at 9:00 at night. I appreciated the quick communication and the two movers who unloaded for us did an awesome job. They were efficient, personable, and we enjoyed the music they played while working. I don't normally post reviews but after this experience I felt like sharing for others who may be looking to hire laborers. First off my wife and I traveled from NY state to Kansas City, MO to collect my uncle and all of his earthly possessions. We had a U-haul trailer reserved in KC and 2 laborers to load it up. We arrived on Tuesday as planned and picked up the trailer and got to our destination only to get a cancelation for our laborers! I quickly searched online and started calling... after the 5th company didn't answer I received a text from Your Local Movers and they were able to meet our needs and sent 2 of the most professional and personable people that showed up on time and within two hours had the impossible job completed and we were on our way! We would like to personally thank Tyrie and Paul for their great workmanship and getting us loaded in such a professional manner and I wish they were here in Ny to help unload! Kyree and Devante are awesome!!! They helped us out a lot and we’re so accommodating and kind!! We just unloaded it from a 13hr trip from KC to Houston. Wow, we were really blessed on finding these guys and having them. They tightly packed everything perfectly. These guys really helped me out in a pinch. Was out of state and our office had some equipment delivered and the property manager wasn’t willing to move it into our office for us. Called and had these guys on it within an hour, rate was half of what every other moving company I contacted was charging, and nobody else was willing to fit us in the same day. These guys were great! Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our previous movers and we were scrambling to find new movers in a pinch. We booked them around 9pm and they were available at 7am the next day. Both guys were very professional and super efficient, also had great music taste of Frank Sinatra. Kyree and Seida were AMAZING!!! I cannot recommend them enough. We put in a last minute request for labor to load a truck the next morning and they were so accommodating. They arrived promptly and immediately went to work. Incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure of having these gentlemen move my family. There was a slight set back from the beginning but the co-owners themselves, threw there gear on and came out and showed out.they were very professional, attentive to request made by us. I cannot recommend Your Local Movers enough! I rented a UHaul and hired different movers to help me load and unload it. After hours of the other movers "running late," they finally texted me to cancel altogether and I was frantic and scrambling trying to find help at the last minute. Enter Your Local Movers. Seida and Kyree saved the day for me and turned a really stressful day into a positive one. They worked so fast and efficiently, systematically going room by room and moving things out and having me check after to make sure they got everything. They were so gentle with my things and did everything they could to make sure nothing got dinged or scratched. But on top of everything, they had such an amazing positive attitude! I was so stressed out and after just a few minutes with them, I felt like things were taken care of and I could breathe! They even helped back the uhaul into my driveway as I had some trouble maneuvering it. I cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and don't waste time hiring anyone else!! Fabulous job!! I always stress about what my things will look like after a move…. Scratches etc. Seida and the other mover went above and beyond! My furniture was wrapped and secured! Kyree and Zay were amazing!!! We were still packing and they were so patient and helpful. They enabled my Min to keep some heirloom furniture that means so much to her. we all even had fun looking through some of Mom’s old ld stuff. Kyree and Zade did such a great job with my move! In the heat, they both worked hard to get all of my stuff, a 10’ truck and two cars full, up three flights of stairs - under an hour!
